Sweet Angelle Neighbors

We love our Andertons! We can hardly handle not being just down the street from them anymore. Look how grown up our cutie girls are. They've practically grown up together!

Elle has been Quinn's baby almost as long as she's been mine.

Besides Michael, Tyler is very likely Elle's first boyfriend.

My dear Liz has taken care of me and been there for me all those years too. I'm so glad we get to visit them often!

Mom's is Always like Home

We picked up our Meggie from school and took her to get snowballs at our favorite snowball stand of all time: MOM's. Yummmm!

This shot was taken in the 7 second window of Elle getting her rainbow snowball in her little hand and the entire top falling to the ground.

If only it wasn't a breezy 50 degrees outside, the afternoon couldn't have been more perfect!

My House - Staged

My Super Friends! Geneva and Paula were life savers! In just a day and a half, we painted two rooms (with the help of Monica, Anne and Sarah), staged the entire house, manicured the lawn and baked homemade cookies (just one batch to fill the house with the aroma, of course).

Geneva took two rooms of furniture plus some items from her home and staged my entire house! It looks fantastic!

Thanks for all the help! Now let's sell this baby!! Check out my posting on my previous blog for more info.

Happy Bday Grandpa!

Happy 62 Grandpa! We are so lucky to live in Austin and be at grandpa's house for his birthday! This is grandma's famous birthday cake. We'll cake it the Super Sam Kablam. Mom asked Sam what kind of birthday cake he wanted recently and in true Sammy form, he came up with the most outrageous recipe - two layers of yellow cake, filled with vanilla creme, a home baked cherry pie sandwiched in the middle, frosted with whipped creme, drizzled with chocolate fudge and topped with Ferrero Rochers. Yep. It was awesome, and surprisingly delicious!

For grandpa's birthday, mom and dad and I and some of their good friends went to see Fiddler on the Roof at the University of Texas Bass Concert Hall. It was amazing.

It was so nice to have some much needed grown up time with mom and dad. I hope the group didn't think I was snobby, because I don't think I said more than 100 words the entire time. I just REALLY enjoyed not talking to anyone and not being talked to for a couple hours. It was heavenly.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Snow in Austin!

The snow fell for most of the day today! Hunter and Michael were at school, but Ellie and I got to go outside and run around in the fresh snow. It actually stuck pretty well to the ground and coated all the grass in about an inch and a half of snow.

After school, the kids and I dressed warm and frolicked in the winter wonderland that was our front yard. We invited our adopted cousin Samuel Mower to join us and had a chilly blast.
